The city, like the people that inhabit it, is a living organism. Both need attention and thought, air and light, sustenance and water to continue to expand, grow and be resilient, moving towards the future.

Urban ecology consists of the organisms of the city (people, buildings, open spaces, transportation). Emerging City examines the beneficial ways that each can best relate to each other within the shared urban landscape. These benefits can be profound or lighthearted, fundamental or fun.

Emerging City engages invigorating thoughts on cities and city-zens who form them through articles, research and workshops.
